Hey there!
At UVic I was known for many things… but the two that come to mind right now are my abundance of keys and my pink shoelaces, both of which I am leaving behind. Another thing I am leaving behind is my excessive amount of internet surfing. I’m subscribed to many blogs and I have no intention of sitting behind my computer in Italy being a big nerd. So Robert… I’ll leave the internet thing to you. Ian, it’s up to you to keep me up to date with the happenings of the online travel community. Ryan… well, you keep doing what you do because I love reading your blog and I can deal with three. And to the 50 something blogs I unsubscribed from. Well, so sorry.
Enjoy the next 13 hours of your life. I’m going to do my best to enjoy mine.
Here’s a video I made in the Airport. It’s boring, but I promise that they will get better.

Quite the honor. I’ll make sure not to waste your time.
Have fun
Dude, you must be high on life about now!
Even your “boring” videos are quite entertaining. It’s a lot easier to identify with a person when there is video.
Keep up the lighthearted reports, and be sure to check out a musical while in London (cheap being a relative term… tickets can be bought same day in Leicester Square for most shows). See if you can beat my record - 7.5 in 3 days!
The .5 show accounts for Oklahoma, where the stage broke halfway through, thus the 2nd half was canceled.
How exciting to be off on your European adventure! Definitely check out a musical while in London. Also, might be worth catching a soccer match and meeting some fine upstanding soccer hooligans! Final ideal, see if you can get one of the guards at the palace to let you try on his fuzzy hat.
Cheers,
Rex
Great site for walking routes around London. Check out Trafalgar Square to Borough Market and pick up your theatre tickets at Leicester Square along the way. The Lion King or Mama Mia would be worth seeing.
