I’ve been pretty terrible about taking pictures lately. Very terrible, and I apologzie. I assure you that this will be remedied. But on to more pressing concerns: my Saint Patrick’s Day Celebration!
The pub didn’t open until 11:30… but that’s still reasonably early to start drinking. And by drinking, I mean my friend Lindsay and I shared a pitcher. I drank through a straw - of course. It was green, and fun. Her, Chloe, and the rest of the group were planning on staying there until 9:00PM! I’m very glad that you sent me on two adventures, because I wasn’t prepared to drop $100+ on booze and food.
So at 12:30ish I headed over to the Keg Baseball game… and stopped at McDonalds. I always make terrible food decisions when I’m drunken. And I don’t think I’ve ever been drunk at 12:00 AM before. Oh well, it’s St. Patties. Anyway keeping in mind the $5 budget, I had the $1.39 double cheese burger - a very healthy decision.
En route to the party I had to stop and pick up my backpack (full of gin and lemon juice) and bicycle don’t drink and drive! And continued on my way. I got a beckoning on my portable communication device (my ring tone is No More I Love Yous by Annie Lennox) and was told baseball was canceled because of the rain! Oh, ha ha, I forgot to mention that it was pouring rain and my shoes are still wet! It’s Monday!!! There was a detour and the keg was routed to my friends house, so I went there. It was drunken, and fun. And we had a McDonalds run. I ate another double cheese burger and a junior chicken thing. $4.50, still on budget, ha ha ha.
I passed out by 6:00… and woke up at 8:00, watched Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, played some Wii with my roomates, then went to bed. At 11:00, the guys that live downstairs decided to have a party and I was up until 1:00 listening to their conversations and bass. It was… upsetting. Why can’t they get drunk in the day like the rest of Victoria? Oh well, I consider it training for putting up with stuff when I’m on the road.
Happy Monday!!
Jeremy

Wait… the drinks at the pub don’t count towards the $5 a day limit? And was two double cheeseburgers that *only* thing you ate all day??
Ha ha nope. If people on the blog send me on an adventure, it overrides any outstanding obligations. Unless they put in a “this adventure is unalterable” clause
Two double cheese burgers and a junior chicken burger… and think I ate some chips at the party? And maybe a can of soup my friends gave me?
Oh dear. What about the detox and getting a new start? I think St. Patrick’s Day is a scary day. So many drunk, belligerent, hostile people. But Im sure you werent one of those.
Ha ha no, I’m certainly not belligerent or hostile. But drunk… yes… I am one of those
