Knocked Up

fondue

“Hello?… Yes… Yes… Mhm… Yes… Ok.” Marina put the phone down. “That was the Police. They are bringing Jeremy home.”

Ha ha. I had a pretty intense weekend. I went to a fondue party (don’t worry, I stayed veggy), saw Knocked Up (a great movie)… and got so incredibly intoxicated that I randomly left my friends at a pub, walked six blocks to a bus stop, waited for a bus, sat down, [insert memory blank], and came to with police asking me questions. Flashing lights, two police cars, a paddy wagon… I had trouble forming logical sentences, but I manged to give them my phone and had them call my roommates (the ones that stayed home). The funny thing is, I was literally three houses away from my house. I have no idea how they got involved, but the po-po put me in the back of a police car, drove three houses up, and dropped me off. I was legitimately put into the back of a police car. Sweet!

Marina almost didn’t answer the phone. She chose my adventure that night because had she let it ring one more time, I would have been throwing up in the drunk tank.

Now I don’t want you thinking I’m an alcoholic: I didn’t drink that much. I just am an incredible light-weight. And, well, I started early in the afternoon.

Ha ha. Maybe I shouldn’t be writing this down. My mom reads this blog :P

What kind of friends lets a absolutely drunken wasted drunken man walk out of a bar alone?! Here’s a new adventure suggestion: Find new friends. Ha ha.

Ha ha. I think they thought I needed some air and assumed I was going to come back… but I just kept on walking. And I walk pretty darn fast :P

I would like to vouch for all of Jeremy’s friends, and especially those that were there that night, that we love him, in the completly normal, friendly, I actually know Jeremy kind of way. and it is because of misadventures like this one that we do love him so much. If I could go back in time and stop him from getting picked up from the cops, I wouldn’t. Because then he wouldn’t be who I love. and because then he wouldn’t be able to write about these adventures that I can so greatly read when I have grown bored of actually talking to him. In person. Because we’re friends.
