Ha ha no, I didn’t take that picture… but it is outstanding. I love digital SLRs (and talented photographers). Anyway, random tangent. Today was the first day of Northern Voice, and as you suggested and voted, I wore a dragon costume. Thanks! It certainly got me some attention. Let’s just hope it is the right kind, ha ha, and that people do not think I am insane. Well, I am sort of. But let’s keep that between you and me.
The conference is actually really cool. It is very exciting to see people from all over Canada and the US get together to talk about something they love. Too bad Robert Scoble wasn’t there yet. Oh well. Unfortunately (well, for you anyway) I’m not going to wear the costume two days in a row. That might be a little tacky. If you are ever looking for a way to break the ice with a few hundred people, consider wearing a costume to a blogging conference. It was a lot of fun.
Thanks again for visiting! If you have any ideas for future adventures, please leave them in the comments!

yes. SLR cameras are indeed great. You’re hilarious in your dagron (intentional misspelling) costume btw.

I have never been to Starbucks with a dragon before. I’m all for new experiences!!
Great photo of you - hope you enjoyed the weekend.
shoot, i only have a poem about a PINK dragon!
it was nice chatting with you for a few minutes at northern voice, love your idea of getting yourself voted on to do all kinds of things.
it just occurred to me - the presence of a yellow dragon is definitely a sign of a good conference!
haha, I’m glad I was able to add a little excitement to your day. I wonder if conference costumes are going to be a common theme here? I guess the only way to find out will be by going to another one.
Awesome, so a big fan of the dragon costume, but what I would really love to see is a full on fish costume, with scales to match.
Great idea for a webblog nonetheless, I was crazy about choose-your-own back in the day; are you back this summer for your final semester in b.comm?
Hey, you brought some great joy and fun to the group. Keep on choosing the adventure!
