I am a dragon!

I thought I would begin my Halloween story by explaining that I do not remember much of my Halloween story. I was completely out of touch with reality. I remember drinking excessively before the party, I remember dancing a little inside the club, I remember being escorted out of the club by two bouncers, and I remember spending 2 hours out in the cold trying to get a cab home. Unsuccessfully. The only thing keeping me warm was my skin tight felt dragon costume, and my dragon cap.

Saturday night was out of control, and its series of events perfectly demonstrates the kind of person I am. I love to have fun, I love to do random things, and from time to time I like to get slightly intoxicated. I am confident that with your influence there will be many more adventures of this caliber.

Yesterday morning I did not want to get out of bed. I tried to watch Battlestar Galactica, but I couldn’t pay attention long enough for it to work. I woke up drunk, and that has never happened to me before. I was thankful that I was not hungover… and I’d wake up drunk in lieu of a hangover any day. I’m concerned that I do not have many memories of the night. I am sure that I must have made a fool of myself in many ways, which is awesome. Judging by the welcome I got when I went to carve pumpkins at my friends’ house on Sunday, I think I was pretty intense. In a good way – people seem to like me when I’m drunk.

Thank god I brought my digital camera. There are hundreds of pictures on it, and I do not remember taking a single one. Ha ha. Check out my flickr profile so you can re-live the night through pictures. They can re-create the night much better than I can. It was unbelievable.

I’m going to be at a conference in Ottawa at the end of November, so start thinking about some hour-long adventures. I’m basically in meetings from 8:30AM-11 PM every day, so the Adventures will take place in the early morning or late at night. Let the brainstorming begin!
