Best day ever!

Today I finished University, and was one of the best day of my life. Four years, done - certainly warrants the keyword “celebration”. Now I get to face the real world. Well, as real-world as letting random people choose my adventure for a year can be :P.

After class today I hung out with some really awesome people that I’ve never really spent a lot of time with, and had such an awesome time. It’s ironic, really - finding super cool friends the day before I move back to Vancouver… seventeen days before I leave on a trip around the world. I guess that’s life. No regrets! I still can’t get over shocked I am right now. Done school. It’s crazy. My friend made us dinner, we sat on the couch laughing non stop all day. We even organized a secret society. It was outstanding.

At one point during our 12 hours of mad fun we were reflecting on our lives and one of the guys - Rian - told us a story about Pizza day in elementary school and how his mom would draw a smily face on a hard boiled egg in lieu of pizza. “I never really liked pizza day…” I think you had to be there for it to be funny. My parents didn’t buy me pizza day either. And it was just. I don’t know. I’m still slightly intoxicated.

Good times, good times. Another friend, Jamie, and I were talking about how well we get along and how different our semester would have been had we only figured this out 3 months earlier. Such an intense night, and it put me in a really good mood.

Today was the perfect end to my University career, and tomorrow morning, 6 hours form now, I get to get up and go have breakfast at a restaurant with my roomates. It’s a cool place where you can flip a coin for you meal and pay double or nothing. I think - for the first time ever - I might flip for it… since I might never have that chance again. So sad.

I’m really looking forward to our adventure. Here’s a video I made on YouTube. Hahahahaha. Don’t take it too seriously :D

Congratulations Jeremy! Enjoy this time in life!!! It is easy to get bogged down with “what the hell do I do now” questions. Those aren’t bad questions to ask but don’t let them pull you down. Enjoy every day you can.

Best,

Rex

Aw, thank you for that! I agree that living day to day is the best strategy.

Cheers!
